Rite Aid changes their UP Rewards Policy starting tomorrow

Tommorrow starts the changes at Rite Aid with their UP Rewards...I am going to opt-out so I can control them a lot better!!!

Check it out!!!

Starting tomorrow, September 2, +Ups will no longer be printed on receipts, but will be loaded to Wellness+ cards.  +Ups are Rite Aid’s OYNOs, coupons good for a dollar amount off your next purchase’s total.  There are a few things you’ll need to be aware of with this change:

+Up Rewards will not be available to use until 6 a.m. the day after purchase.  So no more going in and making one transaction, ripping the +Ups off that receipt, and using them to pay for Transaction #2.
+Ups will expire 14 days from the date of purchase.  They had previously expired on Saturdays, so you’ll need to keep the actual purchase date in mind.
+Ups will be deducted from your purchase total in order of value (highest to lowest) rather than by expiration date.  So if you have a $12 balance on your purchase, and you earned a $10 +Up 2 days ago, but earned (2) $5 +Ups and a $2 +Up 13 days ago, it looks like the $10 one would be used first, potentially allowing the others to expire.  You can manage your +Ups online or via the mobile app, clipping and unclipping them to avoid those issues.  Just be careful that nothing expires while it’s unclipped!
You can opt out of the Load2Card +Ups and continue to have them printed on the receipt.   You can do this starting Sept. 2 in-store at the register, or call customer service at 1-800-RITE-AID.  The printed +Ups still will not be activated until 6 a.m. the following day.

If you have any questions, just ask!!!
